Three years ago, Seeblick Bears did not exist. This weekend, our Boys U16 Inter-Regional team will play in the ProBasket Final Four — the regional championship for the top four youth teams in German-speaking Switzerland. They arrive there undefeated: seventeen wins, zero losses across the regular season.
For any team, a perfect season is a rare thing. For a club that is only three years old, it is worth pausing for a moment to recognise what this group of players, and the people around them, have built.
In those three years, Ballsport Seeblick has grown from a standing start to seven competitive teams across basketball and volleyball, alongside a growing tennis programme. We serve boys and girls from Cham, Zug and the wider Greater Zug region, and this U16 side has become the flagship of that journey. What they show on the court — the discipline, the trust in one another, the willingness to keep working when things are going well and when they are not — reflects exactly what the club is trying to build off it.
Youth sport, for us, is about more than results. It is about habits, resilience, and a sense of responsibility — to the team, to the process, and to one another. This team embodies that every time they step on court, and the Final Four is the reward for a season of doing the small things consistently well.
Now they step into less familiar territory, and we would love for as many of the Seeblick community as possible to be there with them. We also invite basketball fans from the from Cham, Zug and the wider Greater Zug region to come and cheer their local team.
