Basketball Summer Camp with Igor Georgiev

From August 11th to 15th, 2025, Seeblick Bears organized a Basketball Summer Camp with special guest Igor Georgiev, an experienced basketball coach and former professional player.

A certified FIBA pro-level coach since 2009, Igor brings a wealth of international experience and elite-level knowledge. He began his coaching journey in Macedonia and has worked alongside legendary coaches such as Pini Gershon, Aleksandar Trifunović, and Svetislav Pešić. Throughout his career, he has coached and assisted top teams and national programs across Europe, including Red Star (Serbia), Karşıyaka (Turkey), Panathinaikos Academy (Greece), Lukoil (Bulgaria), MZT Skopje, as well as youth national teams at the U16 and U17 levels.

During the five-day camp, young players participated in intensive training sessions focused on individual skill development, game fundamentals, and basketball IQ. Under Georgiev’s guidance, athletes worked on ball handling, shooting technique, decision-making, defense, and team play.

Beyond on-court training, the camp emphasized discipline, confidence, and teamwork, creating a motivating and supportive environment for all participants. The presence of a special guest coach provided valuable inspiration and insight, leaving a strong impact on the players’ development and love for the game.
